Tips to follow in order to better secure the account:

Password Protection

  • Use a sufficiently long and complex password: at least 10 characters containing lowercase letters, capital letters, numbers, and special characters.
  • Never communicate the password to a third party.
  • A password should never be shared or stored in a file or on paper without adequate protection.
  • Change the password periodically.
  • Use a password that no one can guess.
  • Avoid passwords with identical consecutive characters.
  • Use a password that is different from the previous one when changing passwords.

E-mail Protection

  • Be careful when using public Wi-Fi connections.
  • Do not send personal information by email to a financial institution.
  • Be wary of any email requesting personal or financial information.
  • Close the session when finished.

Computer Protection

  • Perform regular updates for the operating system, browser, and applications.
  • Always use an up-to-date antivirus software.
  • Always activate the personal firewall of the computer.
  • Avoid downloading files from malicious websites.
